2. General information on data processing

We only process the personal data of our users to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website together with our content and services, or where you have given your consent.

3. Hosting and server log files

When you access this website, our hosting provider automatically stores information in so-called server log files: IP address (shortened or stored only briefly), date and time of access, page accessed, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and trouble-free operation). The data is deleted after 30 days at the latest.

4. Cookies and consent

We use technically necessary cookies or local storage to save your privacy choice (legal basis: § 25(2) TDDDG (German Telecommunications-Digital-Services-Data-Protection Act), Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Optional cookies are only set with your express consent (§ 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). 5. Contacting us

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you provide in order to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). We delete this data as soon as the enquiry has been finally dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Appointment booking

For online appointment booking, we may redirect you to an external booking service. The privacy policy of the respective provider applies in that case. The transfer of data is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation of the treatment contract).

7. Health data at the practice

As part of your treatment, we process special categories of personal data (health data) on the basis of Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR in conjunction with § 22 BDSG (German Federal Data Protection Act). This data is subject to professional confidentiality and is stored in accordance with statutory retention periods (generally 10 years).

8. Map material (OpenStreetMap)

On our contact page we embed a map from OpenStreetMap. In doing so, your IP address may be transmitted to the OpenStreetMap Foundation. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (making it easy to find our treatment location).
