Your safety is our highest priority.
In podiatry we work directly on skin and nails. Even the smallest injuries, barely visible to the naked eye, can occur. Consistent and professional hygiene is therefore not a side issue for us, but an essential part of every treatment.
A Sterile Instrument Set for Every Patient
A clear principle applies in our practice: every patient is treated exclusively with a freshly reprocessed and sterile-packed instrument set.
After every treatment, the instruments go through our full, defined reprocessing process. They are cleaned, disinfected, checked, maintained, packaged and then sterilised in our autoclave.
Sterilisation takes place in sealed sterilisation packaging. The instruments remain protected inside and are opened only immediately before treating the respective patient.
Process
Our Hygiene Process
After every treatment, the instruments used are safely collected and then professionally reprocessed in accordance with our hygiene and reprocessing plan. This includes in particular:
- 01safe preparation of the used instruments
- 02thorough cleaning and disinfection
- 03careful checking for cleanliness and correct function
- 04packaging of the instrument sets
- 05sterilisation in the dedicated autoclave
- 06checking and documentation of the reprocessing process
- 07protected storage of the sterilised instruments until the next treatment
Treatment couches, work surfaces and all relevant patient-contact areas are also reprocessed and disinfected between treatments in accordance with our hygiene plan.
Why We Take This Much Care
People with diabetes, circulatory disorders, wound-healing disorders or other risk factors require particular care during podiatric treatment. Regardless, however, our high hygiene standard applies to every single patient.
We want you not only to feel comfortable with us, but also to be able to rely on hygiene, infection control and careful instrument reprocessing being consistently implemented.
