Every foot and every condition is individual. For particularly time- or material-intensive treatments, costs may vary depending on the actual scope of treatment. We inform you of any additional costs before treatment wherever possible.
Hygiene is a matter of course for us: We use hygienically reprocessed and – where required for the respective application – sterile instruments for every patient, in accordance with applicable hygiene requirements.
Insurance Patients
As an approved podiatric practice, we are authorised to bill statutory health insurers (Krankenkassen) directly for podiatric remedial treatments (Heilmittel) prescribed by a doctor.
If the relevant medical indication is present, your doctor can prescribe podiatric therapy for you as a remedial treatment (Heilmittel). Treatment then follows the medical prescription (Heilmittelverordnung) and the requirements of the remedy guidelines.
Podiatric therapy may be prescribed in particular for pathological changes to the foot where, due to certain underlying conditions, a comparable form of skin and/or toenail damage is present with demonstrable sensory or circulatory disturbances.
Podiatric therapy for diabetic foot syndrome with corresponding pathological changes and damage to the foot, particularly in diabetic neuropathy and/or angiopathy.
Podiatric therapy for pathological changes to the foot resulting from sensory or sensorimotor neuropathy, for example in certain neurological conditions.
Where the medical requirements are met, podiatric therapy may also be prescribed by a doctor for certain damage resulting from a paraplegic syndrome.
Professional removal of pathologically thickened callus to prevent pressure points, skin damage and resulting complications.
Professional treatment of pathologically thickened or altered toenails to prevent injury and consequential damage.
A combination of callus removal and nail treatment within a single session.
Treatment of an ingrown toenail (unguis incarnatus) with a nail correction brace can, under certain conditions, be prescribed by a doctor and covered by the statutory health insurance (Krankenkasse).
Statutorily insured patients aged 18 and over are generally subject to a statutory co-payment obligation.

The €10.00 fee is therefore not charged at every appointment, but once per prescription.
Example: If your medical prescription covers several podiatric treatment appointments, you pay a one-off fee of €10.00 for that prescription plus an additional 10% of the actual treatment costs for the whole prescription.
The exact amount of your personal co-payment may therefore vary depending on the prescribed service and the number of treatment sessions. We are happy to tell you the precise amount of your co-payment for your prescription.
